Homelessness Support Worker - Bournemouth Location: BournemouthJob Type: Temporary / Ad Hoc ShiftsService: Homelessness AccommodationHours: Flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends as required We are currently looking for experienced and reliable Homelessness Support Workers to provide ad hoc cover within a homelessness accommodation service in Bournemouth. This is a temporary, flexible role, ideal for support workers who are looking to pick up additional shifts or prefer the flexibility of ad hoc work. The Role Working within a supported accommodation setting, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals experiencing homelessness and other complex circumstances. Your responsibilities may include: Providing day-to-day support to residents within the accommodation service Supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy or accommodation Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive life choices Building professional and supportive relationships with residents Responding appropriately to challenging situations and incidents Completing welfare checks and maintaining accurate records Supporting residents to access relevant services and community resources Following safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational procedures Working effectively with colleagues and other professionals About You We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience working within homelessness, supported housing, hostels, mental ..... full job details .....
