The RoleWe are looking for two compassionate and energetic Support Workers to provide 2:1 support to a service user with autism and learning disabilities. This role involves supporting them with daily activities, encouraging independence, and promoting a structured routine that enhances her well-being. The service user loves to be creative, loves singing, drama, arts, crafts and likes to go out and about in the car so we are looking for Responsibilities:Assist with daily living tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and shoppingProvide emotional and practical support to encourage independenceSupport with personal care (prompting hygiene, pad changes, etc.)Encourage participation in community and activitiesAdminister medication where requiredAccompany to GP and other health appointmentsEncourage healthy lifestyle choices - diet, exercise, personal hygiene etc Promote creativity and engagement through arts, crafts, and outdoor activitiesRequirements:Understanding of autism and learning disabilitiesExperience managing challenging behavioursFun, bubbly personality with patience and energyAbility to adapt to a structured routineA positive role model who ..... full job details .....
