Support workerSupporting Independent Living (Dudley Area)Reference: CA/DUDLEY/6Pay Rate: £14.57 £20.30 per hour (Inclusive of holiday pay)We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate support worker to support a 37-year-old active gentleman with cerebral palsy in living independently in his own home. The client requires assistance with mobility, personal care, and community access for a wide range of activities. Support is provided 24 hours a day, split between day and night shifts.What You ll Need:Essential Minimum 6 months experience supporting individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities.A genuine interest in active support and a commitment to helping the client achieve his personal goals.Excellent communication skills with a high standard of English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with the client and his wider care team.A full UK driving licence with no penalty points, and confidence in driving the client s vehicle is preferred but not essential.A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check .Ability to build trust and rapport with the client and become a long-term member of his care team.
