Right now, we are looking for a Support Worker to play a pivotal role in our Mental Health Service in Tower Hamlets. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Support Worker, you will empower service users to engage confidently with community mental health teams, social workers, housing providers, healthcare professionals, and employment or training services, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are effectively represented. You will support ongoing assessments, advocate for appropriate levels of support, and help individuals progress towards greater independence. Working collaboratively as part of a flexible team, you will contribute to service delivery, develop co-produced activities and peer support opportunities, and encourage meaningful community engagement.
