Support Worker Role overview Location: Milton Keynes Home 1 (MK1 post code) Home 2 (MK44 post code) - Succesful candidates will only work at one site. Contract: Temporary to permanent Salary: £13.00 PH Waking Nights are £13.30 Rota: MK1 - Day shifts: 1 on 2 off. , Waking Nights and are 3 on 3 off MK44 - 2 week rolling. Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week 3 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Essentials: Willing to give personal care (training provided if required) + Ideally be a car driver You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and development of the Children in our care. Your responsibilities will include: Providing Personalized Care: Offering individualised care and support to children and young people with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. Promoting Independence: Encouraging and facilitating the development of life skills and independence among residents. Creating a Safe Environment: Maintaining a safe and clean-living environment, following all safety protocols and procedures. Implementing Care Plans: Collaborating with the care team to implement and monitor individual care plans. Supporting Educational Goals: Assisting young people in accessing educational opportunities and supporting their learning and development.
