We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and experienced female Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to a young woman in her early 20s. She has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disorganised Attachment Disorder, Dyspraxia, and Anxiety, and requires someone who can offer patient, trauma-informed support tailored to her unique needs.Due to her preference and the nature of the support required, this position is open to female applicants only (Exemption under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).Key Responsibilities
As a support worker, provide consistent support to an individual with complex emotional needs and a background of trauma. A calm, responsive, and emotionally resilient approach is essential. You will offer a reassuring presence throughout the night, responding appropriately to any emotional or behavioural distress. An understanding of autism, anxiety, and neurodiversity is important, and full specialist training will be provided. The role requires someone who is reliable, patient and experienced in supporting individuals with mental health challenges and trauma-related backgrounds in a safe and compassionate way.Why Choose Prosperity Care and Wellbeing?
