Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Godfrey Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with learning disabilities by providing personalized support that enhances their daily lives and fosters independence. Responsibilities: Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-care skills. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life. Implement behaviour management strategies to support individuals during challenging situations. Engage clients in meaningful activities both within the home and in the community. Requirements: Experience in a similar role within residential or supported living settings is preferred. Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care protocols. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
