I m a wheelchair user and have complex behavioural, cognitive, and physical needs. I m described by the people who know me best as a real character , funny, cheeky and determined. I m a sociable, young man with a great sense of humour, but can get very anxious when trying new things or going to new places, it can take me a little while to get used to new people. When I get anxious, I don t always react in the right way, but when I m put at ease, I can be very good company. I need help with personal care and transfers, but my physiotherapist and current Support Workers are helping me to get stronger and to learn new skills.
