Support Worker

Support Worker needed! Handsworth/ Birmingham/ 12.21/ Full time/ days What you will do: You will be assisting residents in a male only care home that have learning disabilities and those who suffer with mental health. You will assist the residents with daily activities providing emotional support and helping them with personal care. This role will require someone with good communication skills, empathy and the desire to provide exceptional support to the residents. You will need to be comfortable and confident in working in a home with only male residents and residents that are deaf, hard of hearing or non-verbal. About the role: 12.21ph 3 shifts a week 8AM-8PM days Permanent role Monday-Sunday Nights may be required What you will need: Level 3 care diploma/certificate (preferred) Care certificate or equivalent Experience in Care within the United Kingdom (6 months) Full flexibility Monday-Sunday Able to start immediately fluency in British sign language is advantageous Please note: This role is subject to DBS checks and will require proof of your qualifications. We will not accept applicants needing sponsorships and Visa information will be required. This is a 1 stage face- to- face interview process.
