Support Worker - Bank

Hunts Recruitment is seeking Flexible Children''s Residential Support Workers for shifts on Hayling Island

You will be working within a residential home for young people in care. Providing day to day support to the young people who have additional behaviours due to experience of trauma, neglect and/or abuse.

A background of supporting children and young people or a background supporting those with additional behaviours would be an advantage.

• Weekly Pay
• -12.21- -12.50-per hour / -50 per sleep in duty-
• Shift times: 7.30am-10pm Days / 9.30pm-7.30am for waking night shifts
• Shifts available across Monday to Sunday as required
• Hayling Island - Portsmouth
• Full and part time hours available to suit your availability-

Principal Responsibilities:

• Acting as a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after-
• You will take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each young person to grow and develop healthily.-
• You will implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessary-for the creation of a safe and secure environment.-

Who we are looking for:

• You will ideally have experience of supporting children or young people, especially those with additional needs and/or behaviours
• Experience supporting within a residential setting would be advantageous
• Flexible with your availability for shifts starting from 7.30am and ending at 10pm
• You will ideally have an enhanced DBS-for the child and adult workforce which is registered on the update service. If not, we are happy to assist you in gaining one at the cost of -62.70
