If you have at least 3 months' care experience, we'll provide all the specialist training you need to support a young boy with complex clinical needs in his own home. What you'll be doing As a Support Worker, you'll support a bright and engaging 9-year-old boy with a range of complex needs. You'll help him enjoy everyday life, participate in therapies, communicate effectively, and engage in the activities he loves. He is non-verbal and uses a Smartbox to communicate. He enjoys music, technology, YouTube, gaming, sensory activities, and spending time interacting with those around him. He is very switched on and benefits from support workers who are patient, engaging, and able to build positive relationships.
