Education Support Worker Central Bristol £110 £126 per day Empower young people in alternative education. An expanding network of inclusive, trauma-informed alternative provisions in central Bristol is seeking Education Support Worker to join their growing teams. These settings work with students aged 4 16 who have experienced disruption to their education and may be at risk of exclusion due to complex behavioural and emotional needs. With a strong focus on positive relationships, personalised learning, and restorative practice, these provisions offer a fresh start for young people in small, supportive settings. The Role: Daily rate: £110 £126, Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Fridays 3.30pm finish 1 Year contract and potentially permanent positions are available after a settling-in period Join an experienced, trauma-informed team Work 1:1 or in small staff-to-student ratios (e.g., 2:1 or 3:1) Support students with SEMH, Autism (ASC), and sensory processing differences Promote positive behaviour and resilience through relational, student-led approaches Essential Requirements: Experience supporting challenging behaviour in education, youth work, care, or similar fields Currently living in or near Bristol, with Right to Work in the UK Access to your own vehicle and business insurance An Enhanced DBS for the Child Workforce on the Update ..... full job details .....
