The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to our clients who have a brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal injuries, learning disabilities, complex behaviour, live in support and social and personal needs.The AICS Group is looking for Male / Female support Worker to work with our client who is located in Brighton. This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.ABOUT THE ROLEClient: Our male client acquired a brain injury and requires Support Worker to provide support with his rehabilitation goals.Hours required: The shift pattern required for our client is as followed:12 hr shift - Day shift ( Double up )10 hr shift - Waking NightPERSON SPECIFICATIONSupport Worker Essential Skills:A minimum of 1 years'' experience in health and social careUK Driving License Moving and handlingRehab experiencePersonal Care Pet-friendly Basic understanding of developmental delay and cognitive impairmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood IT skillsAbility to work in the client''s homeAbility to liaise with healthcare professionals dailyAbility to take a person-centred approachExperience in medication administration, personal care, and manual handlingWillingness to learn and the ability to take on feedbackAbility to think outside the boxSupport worker Desirable skillsExperience of providing care to people living in the communityParticipate in ..... full job details .....
