Support Worker

Support Worker Location: Sudbury Salary: £12.50 - £14.30 per hour Hours: Full Time or Part Time (Will include evenings, weekends, Bank holidays and nights). Overview: To work flexibly to enable adults with severe learning disabilities, autism and or complex health needs to access short breaks, participate in a range of activities and provide opportunities allowing them to achieve as normal and fulfilling a lifestyle as possible. Ensuring Care plans and behavior management strategies are implemented consistently. To be a part of Rota system which will include weekends, nights, bank holidays and sleep-in shifts. Duties and Responsibilities To provide a supportive service which meets the individual s needs. To enable each person to participate in a wide range of activities during their stay, to include involvement with everyday domestic tasks such as cleaning, tidying, their own laundry and preparing meals. To work with the individual to help them develop practical and personal skills to help them realise their potential. Assist in the development of each individual and sensitively support their personal care needs and relationships. About you Empathy and compassion.
