Responsibilities and duties: As a Support Operator, you will be responsible for:Assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the plant, complying with environmental regulations at all timesPerforming plant walk rounds to monitor and test all outside plant equipment. This including steam turbines, boilers, pumps, water treatment plant and moreIdentifying issues and defects in the operation of the plant performing first line maintenance duties when requiredOperating overhead cranes, forklift trucks and other mobile plant when requiredProfessional qualifications: We are looking for someone with the following:An engineering qualification such as ONC / HNC / NVQ / City and Guilds is desirable. However, consideration will be given to candidates able to demonstrate an equivalent level of practical experienceIdeally qualified with an IOSH or similar Health and Safety certificatePersonal skills: The Support Operator role would suit someone who has:Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsAt least 3 years'' experience in process plant ..... full job details .....
