Support Engineer

A Support Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Linton, Cambridgeshire, contributing to the technical and operational support of PCB testing, X-ray inspection and production equipment. The Support Engineer, Linton, Cambridgeshire, will develop technical expertise across test equipment, software and X-ray systems while supporting customers, sales and the wider engineering team. Responsibilities include:Develop detailed knowledge of PCB test and X-ray inspection equipment, including applications and operationPrepare test-machine programmes and data and carry out testing of customer productsDevelop and deliver X-ray imaging services and customer demonstrationsProvide technical support to sales teams, customers and colleagues, including demonstrations, presentations and exhibitionsSupport equipment commissioning and customer training at customer sitesMaintain equipment, stock, stores, schedules and technical records in line with company proceduresBuild relationships with suppliers and contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement activities The Support Engineer, Linton, Cambridgeshire, will have the following key skills:Good understanding of electronics with a practical interest in technologyAbility to develop technical knowledge across software, test equipment, X-ray systems and production equipmentStrong communication skills with confidence supporting customers, colleagues and suppliersOrganised and accurate with the ability to manage varied ..... full job details .....
