This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience supporting vulnerable individuals to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), communication needs and associated complex needs. As part of a multi-academy trust, there may also be opportunities to work across other specialist settings within the trust.The RoleSupport pupils throughout the school day on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.Build trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe, valued and confident.Assist teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.Encourage pupils to develop communication, independence and life skills.Support pupils with personal care where required.Promote positive behaviour through patience, consistency and empathy.Work alongside ..... full job details .....
