Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
- Adapt to different school environments with confidence and professionalism
- Follow lesson plans left by absent teachers or create engaging content when needed
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records where applicable
You’ll be working across a network of welcoming and supportive secondary schools in the Stoke-on-Trent area. These schools are known for their inclusive environments, strong leadership teams, and commitment to staff development. RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Supply Teacher with QTS you will:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Recent experience teaching in a UK classroom
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A positive and flexible attitude to working in different school settings
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one through ABC Teachers)
