Job Details
As a Supply Teacher – English, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. You’ll be expected to follow existing schemes of work, maintain clear learning objectives, and uphold the school''s behavioural standards. The ideal Supply Teacher – English will have a passion for literature, language, and developing student literacy. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of supply teaching with the chance to regularly return to a school that values consistency and familiar faces.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supply Teacher – English seeking day-to-day or longer-term cover roles within a supportive environment. You will be supported by experienced heads of department and excellent teaching resources.

Qualifications and Requirements

• QTS or UK-recognised teaching qualification in English

• Proven experience working in secondary schools, particularly in English at KS3 and KS4

• Ability to inspire and engage students through creative lesson delivery

• A strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills

• Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one
