Supply Desk is urgently seeking enthusiastic and flexible Secondary Supply Teachers to join our growing team, supporting a variety of secondary schools across Watford and nearby Hertfordshire areas, including Bushey, Rickmansworth, Abbots Langley, and Kings Langley.

We have immediate vacancies for daily cover, short-term roles, and long-term placements across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, and more.

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with subject-specific curriculum expectations

• Adapting quickly to different school environments, classes, and teaching styles

• Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment

• Marking and assessing (only when required for longer-term placements)

• Collaborating with departmental staff and SLT when appropriate

• Upholding safeguarding and health & safety protocols at all times

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or UK-recognised teaching qualification

• Recent UK teaching experience at KS3 and/or KS4 level (KS5 is a bonus)

• Subject specialism in any secondary curriculum area

• Confident classroom management and adaptability

• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Willingness to travel within Watford and surrounding areas

• A proactive and professional attitude to teaching and learning
