Supply Planner

An established and growing manufacturing and distribution business is looking for an experienced Supply Planner to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and stock availability across a key product category. This is a role with responsibility for ensuring products are purchased and delivered on time, stock levels are optimised and customer service levels are maintained. Key Responsibilities as Supply Planner Manage purchasing and purchase orders in line with demand and forecasts. Forecast demand and manage stock levels and availability. Manage relationships with suppliers, including Far Eastern suppliers. Coordinate container bookings and liaise with freight forwarders. Monitor supplier lead times, deliveries and potential supply issues. Work with Marketing on new product forecasting and launches. Support product re-sourcing and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Contribute to improving purchasing and supply-chain processes. About You We are looking for an experienced Supply Planner with: Experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain. Strong analytical and Excel skills. Experience of forecasting, stock management and purchase orders. Excellent negotiation, communication and supplier-management skills. Strong organisation and attention to detail.
