Supply Chain/Demand Planner

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Bedfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain/Demand Planner. Primary responsibility of the role:To provide support to the process of the Demand and Inventory planning forecast, ensuring uninterrupted supply to customers. Day to day duties:Working with key stakeholders to create accurate demand planning forecastsProviding key demand analysisValidating purchasing plans and progressing through to placement of ordersIdentifying potential stock shortages and taking corrective actionMonitor supplier performance Experience and Qualifications required:Educated to A level or equivalentPrevious experience in a Demand or Supply Chain environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong computer skills including ExcelExperience using an ERP system ..... full job details .....
