Supply Chain Manager

to play a pivotal role in a

£2bn+ major construction programme . This is a

10-year, multi-billion-pound project

that will require the design, mobilisation, and development of a

world-class supply chain .This isn’t about logistics or moving goods around. It’s about

building and shaping a supply chain ecosystem from the ground up , working with suppliers, SMEs, and strategic partners to ensure readiness, resilience, and compliance.The role will evolve through three key phases:Mobilisation

– Identifying, engaging, and onboarding the right suppliers in a market with significant barriers to entry.Development

– Embedding performance management, sustainability, health and safety, and social value across the supply chain.Engagement

– Driving SME participation and developing local supply chain capability to meet long-term commitments.Ideal Candidate Background:A background in

supply chain development/engagement

(construction experience with a Tier 1 contractor is a bonus).Skilled in

supplier relationship management, performance management, and risk/compliance oversight .Comfortable operating on highly regulated projects (nuclear/defence/infrastructure experience is an advantage).Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills – able to work with a variety of personalities and suppliers.Keen, proactive, and collaborative – more of a facilitator and developer than a transactional buyer.Why Join?:Join a
