Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Our client, a leading organisation in advanced technology manufacturing, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join its Operations team on a permanent basis at its facility in Loughborough. This role will support production planning, procurement and material supply activities, ensuring components are available in line with project and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Plan production and material supply activities to support agreed build and consumption datesCommunicate demand plans clearly to suppliers, production teams and project stakeholdersMaintain accurate ERP data, including supplier commitment dates, lead times, minimum order quantities and Bills of MaterialsCreate and maintain clear-to-build reports, highlighting constraints, risks and required actionsIdentify, manage and resolve material supply issues in a timely mannerProvide inputs into SandOP and MRP processes and manage resulting actionsCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and the Shipping and Logistics ControllerMonitor supplier performance KPIs and support supplier and process improvement initiativesJob Requirements:Experience in procurement, buying, supply chain planning or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of supply chain control, material requirements planning and production planningExperience creating and controlling Bills of MaterialsPractical experience using an ERP system and maintaining accurate supply chain dataStrong reporting, ..... full job details .....
