Supply Chain Planner £32,640 per annum Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 40 hours per week Are you organised, analytical and looking to develop your career within supply chain?A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Planner to join a well-established and growing organisation within the foodservice sector. This is a varied role where you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across the business, maintaining strong stock availability while controlling costs and delivering excellent customer service.What you''ll be doing Working as part of the planning team, your responsibilities will include:Managing inventory and end-to-end supply planning across a designated product rangeEnsuring the right level of stock is available at the right place and time, while maximising product date lifeAnalysing historical data and market trends to forecast future demandMaintaining optimal inventory levels while minimising stock holding costsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersNegotiating supply chain agreements and monitoring supplier performance and service levelsIdentifying problem or obsolete stock and working with Sales and Commercial teams to find effective solutionsWorking with Account Managers on product forecasting for key customersOverseeing transportation and storage of goods and coordinating stock movements between depots to maximise availability and salesIdentifying and ..... full job details .....
