Part of a larger group, the site handles a broad product range across multiple suppliers, both UK and imported. This is a role for someone who wants ownership rather than order processing. You will hold your own supplier base, build the supply plans behind it, and be the person who spots the problem before it becomes a stock out. What you will be doing You will place orders against your assigned suppliers and hold the supply plans that sit behind them, working to lead times, minimum order quantities, shelf life and safety stock. Forecasts will land on your desk and part of the job is knowing when to challenge them.
