Supply Chain Planner

A market-leading FMCG manufacturer require a Supply Chain Planner to develop and execute supply plans to ensure timely of materials and finished goods, balancing customer demand, inventory levels and supplier performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain, planning or procurement professional to make a significant impact on inventory optimisation, supplier performance and supply continuity, whilst developing their expertise within a complex international supply chain environment. Specific duties of the Supply Chain Planner include:Develop supply and replenishment plans aligned to demand forecasts and production requirementsManaging inventory levels - monitoring inventory performance and mitigating against shortages and excess stockSupport SandOP process by providing insight on supply, capacity and constraintsManage MRP parametersPlace and manage purchase orders in MRPOwnership of supplier orderbooksLiaison between suppliers, production and procurement teams to ensure material availability and resolve threats to production planMonitor and report on KPIs - supplier performance, OTIF, inventory turns, planning efficiencies etc.Identify and implement best practice and continuous improvement across planning, procurement and inventory management Supply Chain Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:Previous supply chain planning (supply planning, demand planning, inventory control) or procurement experience within FMCG, retail or manufacturing ..... full job details .....
