Your new company A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Supply Chain and Inventory Planner to join its UK Supply Chain team. This is a key position focused on ensuring the uninterrupted supply of finished goods and materials whilst maintaining optimum inventory levels and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function.Working closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in balancing customer service, inventory performance, supplier management, and cost control.Your new role Supply Planning and Inventory Management.Manage the supply planning and procurement of finished goods from external suppliers and internal manufacturing sites.Raise, manage, and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment with customer demand and inventory requirements.Expedite supplier deliveries and proactively manage supply risks to maintain product availability.Monitor stock levels and inventory health, ensuring optimal inventory performance and minimising excess and obsolete stock.Analyse inventory trends and provide recommendations to improve stock availability, reduce working capital, and optimise supply chain performance.Participate in inventory review activities, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.Develop strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and internal stakeholders.Communicate supply shortages, delays, and risks to relevant ..... full job details .....
