This is a varied role supporting the Supply Chain Manager with the day-to-day running of the supply chain. The main focus will be production planning, stock management and keeping things moving in a busy manufacturing environment. No two days will be the same! The role Plan and schedule production to ensure the factory runs efficiently. Manage finished goods stock levels and availability. Order raw materials and manage supplier forecasts. Monitor stock movements and investigate any discrepancies. Work closely with Production, Finance and Distribution teams. Support with stock counts, goods-in and other day-to-day supply chain activity. Experience and knowledge for the role: You will ideally have experience in production planning, supply chain or materials planning within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Confident using Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and other functions. Highly organised with a good eye for detail. Comfortable working with data and solving problems.
