Supply Chain Officer

Our client has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join them on a contract basis until November 2026 with possibility of extension.You will have accountability to monitor the delivery of the right part, at the right time, at the right quantity, to the right place in accordance with customer needs.Role: Supply Chain Coordinator Location: Filton - 80% onsite per week Hours: 35 per week Hourly Rate: 30.69 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: BPSS required before startingWhat you''ll be doing:Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment to requirementsOptimise ordering parameters (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point) in line with influencing factors (delivery performance, quality performance, economic order quantity, demand fluctuation)Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap/damagesMonitor and manage delivery forecasts and ''line of balance'' through regular interaction with suppliersPerform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing Parts, Stock KPIs, Level of ServiceEnsure clear and regular communication to all internal customers based across the world and that the escalation process is initiated in a timely manner where required to avoid impacts to build through late supplyParticipate in supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to supplier where requiredFollow-up and support troubleshooting for delivery issues, Goods receipt, Technical/Administrative quality ..... full job details .....
