Supply Chain OfficerLocation: CorshamSalary: Competitive Day Rate In Scope IR35Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Supply Chain Officer on behalf of one of our clients. To support key activities contributing to operational Supply Chain Management (SCM) across inventory management, supplier management, demand management and performance management activities. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Review established processes and provide recommendations to implement changes and create new processes, as identified, across the Supply Chain Team.Analyse data (in excel) to understand consumption rates, supply chain upstream support risks (including obsolescence risks), working with PMs and other stakeholders to understand impact.Work with ILS to ensure SCM transition to in service activity is delivered ahead of in service date. This is to include system set up, certificates of conformity, GFE loans registers - created and verified in conjunction with GFE manager and codification activity.Work with CLS vendors to ensure alignment and delivery to contractual deliverables and KPIs.Work collaboratively with CLS vendors to mitigate and manage upstream supply chain risks.
