JOB DESCRIPTION: Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, Procurement Manager - Premium Packaging Solutions
 
A newly created role, this is a high-impact leadership position and a key member of the Site Leadership Team. The role provides end-to-end ownership of the order-to-delivery process, ensuring effective alignment between customer demand, procurement, production planning, manufacturing capacity, logistics and warehouse operations.
 
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will provide integrated leadership across Customer Service, Procurement, Planning and Logistics functions, creating a single point of accountability for supply chain performance. The role will be instrumental in developing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, improving operational efficiency, supporting site consolidation activities and building the capabilities required to support future business growth
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, Procurement Manager - Premium Packaging Solutions
 
· Lead and optimise the end-to-end supply chain process from customer order receipt through to final delivery
· Provide leadership across Customer Service, Procurement, Production Planning, Logistics and Warehouse (internal and external) functions
· Support the integration of site consolidation and business growth initiatives through effective supply chain planning and execution.
· Lead the development and implementation of a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
· Ensure alignment between customer demand forecasts, production capacity and resource availability
· Work closely with Commercial, Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Finance teams to balance service, costs, inventory and operational performance objectives
· Ensure customer requirements are effectively translated into operational execution plans.
· Drive improvements in customer service performance, on-time delivery and order fulfilment
· Work closely with Procurement to ensure continuity of supply and effective supplier performance management
· Facilitate the development of the Master Production Schedule to ensure alignment between demand and manufacturing capability.
· Develop, monitor and drive supply chain performance indicators including service levels, inventory performance, planning adherence and logistics efficiency.
· Build strong relationships across Sales, Commercial, Operations, Finance and Group Functions.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, Procurement Manager - Premium Packaging Solutions
 
Ideally, you will have:
 
· Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Logistics Manager, or Procurement Manager role.
· Experience of leading S&OP, demand planning and customer service functions within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and logistics operations
· Experience with MRP systems and supply chain planning software.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
· Excellent organisational skills
· Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Knowledge and experience of setting up supply chain processes  
· Good attention to detail skills and a strategic thinker
· Ambition and be results orientated
· Full driving license.
