We’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our office-based Operations team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Poole.Overview
Role: Supply Chain Manager. Location: Poole. Hours: 40 per week. This is not remote or hybrid.Responsibilities
Responsible for the inventory levels held by Tower Supplies.Deliver stock availability and order fulfilment at the highest possible service levels.Meet and exceed relevant KPIs (e.g., OTIF, SLOB, MoH).Manage working capital through optimisation of stock levels and minimisation of excess stock without compromising service.Set stocking strategy reflecting usage, MOQs, EOQs, price breaks, and Customer Contracted Stock.Implement stocking and ordering decisions from SandOP meetings.Develop reports, strategies and processes to deliver year-on-year improvements and savings.Maintain relationships with current suppliers; organise and attend internal and external meetings.Act as a point of escalation for solving supplier issues; supplier scoring and development.Provide cost and usage analysis to support strategic decision making.Collaborate with supply partners, customers and wider business to strengthen offerings using available usage information and intelligence.Partner with divisions, understanding their needs and strategies; report progress to all levels of the business.Ensure supply chain activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.Track performance with metrics and KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.Complete essential tasks daily, weekly and monthly; carry out any other duties as required.Qualifications
Technically proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and fulfilment technologies.Meticulous approach to stock accuracy and availability.Excellent communication skills with a team-based and self-starting approach to workload management.Experience in FMCG, wholesale distribution or related industries preferred.What’s in it for you
