Supply Chain Manager

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Somerset who are actively looking to recruit Supply Chain Manager to join the company initially on a 6 month contract, with a view to this going on to a permanent position. What you will be doing: Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of operational performance while developing team leadership experience. The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of our clients 3PL partner, oversee on-site warehouse and packaging activities, and ensure smooth, accurate, and timely order fulfilment across all channels. What you will need to succeed: Proven experience in a management role within warehouse / logistics, 3PL experience would be beneficial although not essential (currently outsourced). Experience working in a FMCG manufacturing environment. Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve operational targets. Experience working within EU markets beneficial. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Excellent communication and reporting skills, both verbal and written. Strong commercial acumen, experience of scaling up within an SME also beneficial. ERP systems experience essential, ideally NetSuite however SAP or Dynamics would also be acceptable What you will receive in return: Competitive.
