Suddenly, five departments are working to five different versions of the plan.This food manufacturer wants a Supply Chain Manager who can get everyone working from the same one.You ll report to the Site General Manager and lead the teams responsible for planning, scheduling and warehousing. The brief is to make the operation more predictable: spot constraints earlier, improve stock control, build a plan the factory can deliver and give your team the structure to keep improving it.There s substance to the role. You ll have experienced people around you, a direct voice in site decisions and the scope to change how things work. You won t be brought in simply to report on missed targets.What would you get your hands on? Turning demand into a production plan that balances capacity, labour, materials and customer service.Leading and developing the planning and warehouse teams.Improving stock accuracy, schedule stability and the flow of finished goods through the site.Working with Operations, Procurement and Quality to tackle the issues behind recurring disruption.Putting clear processes and decisions in place so progress lasts.
