Supply Chain Manager

Job title: Supply Chain Manager Location: Leicester Salary: Up to £50k Dependant on Experience Hours: Mon - Fri 40 hours Purpose of the Supply Chain Manager Role:As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, production planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationship management. This is a hands-on role with scope to introduce new systems and improvements across the supply chain, including ERP implementation and process optimisation. Key Responsibilities for a Supply Chain Manager: Develop and lead the supply chain strategy in alignment with business goalsAnalyse forecasts and create accurate production plansManage and build relationships with key suppliers and vendorsTake over and manage the purchasing/procurement functionOversee stock control and ensure optimal inventory levelsImplement and manage ERP systems and supply chain processesIdentify and deliver continuous improvement opportunitiesCollaborate closely with production, sales, and finance teams Key Requirements for a Supply Chain Manager: Proven experience in a supply chain management role within a manufacturing environmentStrong background in production planning, procurement, and inventory controlDemonstrable success in implementing or improving ERP/MRP systemExcellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams ..... full job details .....
