Supply Chain ManagerChemical Manufacturing Runcorn up to 68,000 plus package benifits We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to join our chemical manufacturing business and take responsibility for the effective management and continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring we have a reliable, cost-effective and compliant supply chain that supports our customers and operational teams.The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, purchasing, production, quality and commercial teams to ensure materials and products move efficiently through the wider supply chain.The RoleAs Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of our supply chain activities, with a particular focus on supplier performance, purchasing, logistics, stock control, distribution and continuous improvement.You will:Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners.Lead supplier performance management, including service, cost, quality and delivery performance.Oversee purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable supply.Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transport providers and freight arrangements.Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy and working capital, identifying opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency.Ensure the supply chain ..... full job details .....
