Supply Chain Manager

We re hiring for a Supply Chain Manager to join a specialist engineering business based in Salford, Greater Manchester, supporting a growing operation that delivers bespoke technical solutions. This is a key leadership role suited to someone who can manage a supply chain team while remaining hands-on with day-to-day operations. You ll be focused on improving systems, strengthening team structure, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and building close working relationships across the business, particularly with Finance. Managing and supporting the supply chain team and overseeing day-to-day supply chain operations Improving systems and increasing automation across the department Using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support planning, reporting, and process improvements Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities Working closely with the Finance team to improve visibility, accuracy, and collaboration Maintaining operational effectiveness while driving continuous improvement Supporting purchasing, stock control, supplier management, and wider operational activity where required What will you need?
