Supply Chain Manager

JOB TITLE -  SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Location: Hull              Type: Permanent     

Job Summary:

• We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client who are a Food manufacturing business based in the East Yorkshire region, who have very exciting plans to continue their growth and are now looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the business who has a strong focus on planning, capacity management and S&OP

Main Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end production planning process, creating accurate short, medium and long term plans to meet customer demand.

• Manage capacity planning across multiple production lines, ensuring optimal resource utilisation and identifying constraints or risks.

• Lead and coordinate the S&OP process working cross-functionally with internal teams.

• Use data and forecasting tools to improve planning accuracy, drive efficiencies and support decision-making.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between planning and operational delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.

• Lead supply chain performance analysis and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, regulatory, and quality standards across planning and supply functions.

Person Specification:

• Strong background in supply chain planning and capacity management within a Food Manufacturing environment.

• Experienced in leading or significantly contributing to the S&OP process.

• Highly analytical with excellent Excel and ERP/MRP system skills.

• Commercially aware, with a strategic mindset and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.

• Excellent communicator, capable of presenting planning data clearly and driving alignment across departments.
