Full-time, exempt (salaried) position. This position is eligible for bonus based on performance. This position will be a combo of in-office and hybrid.Job Summary:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the flow of goods, equipment and inventory within the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness from procurement to install. This role involves strategic planning, managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, optimizing inventory, and analyzing data to improve processes and reduce costs. This role requires an excellent problem-solving mindset and rigorous attention to detail, staying organized while managing a larger network of suppliers and distributors.Essential Functions:The Essential Functions are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Inventory Management Collaborating with departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chainMaintaining required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize productionEnsure accurate documentation and tracking of inventoryMaintain clean tracking systems that integrate with Salesforce and NetSuiteCollaborate with department managers and finance to ensure clean and efficient tracking of HomeWorks inventory and tools.Maintaining required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize productionAcquire new vehicles as needed by searching and negotiating for the best value.Implement a perpetual inventory management systemSupervise the monthly inventory counts at each branch location
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely deliveries of needed goods and servicesNegotiate low prices to maximize profits while not compromising safety or quality of goodsIdentify and qualify new suppliersMonitor performance of suppliers by assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery needsImplement a vendor management program with scorecards designed to measure vendor performance as it relates to quality, on-time delivery, procurement cycle time, etc.Assist in the implementation of HWE’s supply chain finance program by securing minimum 70% vendor participationPerform additional tasks as required.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, focusing on supply chain management and operationsMBA preferredFive years experience as a supervisor or manager and total 10 years of total experience1 or more relevant certifications including but not limited to:
Certified Purchasing ProfessionalCertified Supply Chain ProfessionalCertified in Production and Inventory ManagementCertificate in Materials ManagementKnowledge in Theory Constraints (TOC), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma
Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software.Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management and transportationFamiliarity with CRM system, Salesforce preferred.Familiarity with NetSuiteKnowledge and experience with supply chin management software tools for executing supply chain transactions, managing supplier relationships, and controlling associated business processes.Insight into economic conditions and market dynamicsExcellent communication skills including active listening.Deadline and detail oriented.Ability to trouble shoot or design new processes.Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.Supervisory Responsibilities:This is an individual contributor role currently that may evolve, as the company continues to scale, into a supervisory role that may include overseeing and managing a small team.Office Environment: This position is primarily based in an open office environment with typical office conditions; however, may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.Warehouse Environment: This position may eventually be based in a warehouse, which serves as a base for many of our operations and includes equipment and material storage areas.Hybrid position: This position is a flexible work model that combines remote and on-site work. Departmental personnel are required to work in the headquarters every Tuesday and Friday. When working remotely, the employee is required to have a workspace free of distraction during work hours to perform job duties.Physical Demands:Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, performing tasks on a computer, the ability to move within the office to attend meetings, access equipment, or interact with colleagues.This job may require travel in a personal vehicle.Conpensation:Range of $130k-$160k, comprised of base salary and 15% quarterly bonus. Bonus payout each quarter dependent upon achievement of the Company’s and individual performance metrics.
