Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain are delighted to be partnered with an International metals manufacturing group, with the search and selection of a new Supply Chain Manager, for their Darley Dale manufacturing operation. The Supply Chain Manager, Darley Dale is responsible for leading the supply chain operations and ensuring strategic alignment with company goals. This is a senior role, sitting as part of the Site Leadership team, and plays a critical role shaping the supply chain strategy, optimising processes, and ensuring the seamless delivery of raw materials and finished products. A background and experience of sourcing metal from international steel mills would be highly advantageous. Package:£70,000 - £80,000 Company bonusSalary sacrifice EV schemeFree EV charging Key Objectives of the Role Take overall responsibility for the Supply Chain and Logistics department, to ensure the team is performing at a high level. Develop and implement a robust supply chain strategy that aligns with the company''s strategic objectives and industry demands. Analyse market trends and adapt strategies to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities. Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Manage supplier performance against agreed scorecard metrics and standards and producing standardised reports for the senior managers.
