Supply Chain Coordinator

Supply Chain Coordinator Location: Buckshaw Village, Chorley Purpose of the Role Working as part of a collaborative and motivated supply chain team at our head office in Buckshaw Village, Chorley, the Supply Chain Coordinator will support the effective management of supplier orders, inventory, customer demands and deliveries, helping to ensure excellent service and operational performance. Main Duties and Responsibilities Ensure purchase orders are placed with suppliers promptly and efficiently. Resolve enquiries relating to product supply, availability and delivery. Liaise with warehouse teams and third-party transport providers to resolve operational issues. Expedite or defer supplier deliveries to meet business and customer requirements. Maintain accurate data within ERP, inventory and demand planning systems, ensuring appropriate stock levels and effective back-order fulfilment. Collaborate with reporting, planning, purchasing and technical teams to support supply chain operations. Lead or participate in supplier meetings to improve performance and service delivery. Prepare ad hoc reports, complete data entry and recommend process improvements. Support client-specific activities, including customer deliveries, returns, warranty and repairable management. Manage system data, plant equipment stock, depot resupply orders and customer demand acknowledgements, highlighting any discrepancies.
