Supply Chain Coordinator

Riverside Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a busy and growing food production business near Penrith, Cumbria.If you''re the kind of person who enjoys working out how all the pieces fit together, this could be the role for you!This is not just a desk-based supply chain role. You''ll be involved in the day-to-day operation, from orders coming in each morning through to scheduling production, setting up machinery and helping make sure everything runs smoothly.What will you be doing?Reviewing customer orders as they come in each morningPlanning and scheduling production requirementsWorking out the most efficient way to meet demandSetting up machinery ready for productionCoordinating with production teams throughout the dayMonitoring schedules and making adjustments when things changeWorking with figures, quantities, timings and production dataIdentifying and solving problems quicklySupporting the implementation of new processes and improvementsHelping improve efficiency across the operationEnsuring orders are produced and ready on timeWorking closely with colleagues across the businessWhat are we looking for?We''re looking for someone who is switched on, organised and enjoys a challenge.You''ll ideally be: Excellent with numbers and confident with maths A natural problem-solver Good at scheduling and planning Able to think logically and make decisions Comfortable working with systems and data Practical and happy to get involved on the ..... full job details .....
