Supply Chain Coordinator - Fresh Produce

Our Client is continuing to invest in their continued growth with the supply of premium Fresh Produce to retail, process and food service sectors. With a direct supply model, they are seeking an additional member to join the integral Supply Chain team to manage fresh produce supply from source. The position of Supply Chain Coordinator will join the business at an exciting time of continued growth and will manage all elements across the supply chain, to include; Logistics management Coordinating direct deliveries Managing arrival and stock data Responsible for the review and sign-off of transport/logistics invoices Book and monitor all foreign transport to ensure planned deadlines are met Ensure any changes to schedules are reported and relevant amendments are made to forecasting, costings, stock levels etc. Working closely with a wide range of contacts to include internal departments, clearing agents, suppliers/third-party packers, hauliers etc., the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment is essential and will require the ability to build and maintain a strong network of contacts and relationships. We require; Previous experience in a similar Supply Chain role with knowledge of packing Fresh Produce at source Fresh Produce exposure across supply chain / logistics / forecasting / stock control Excellent communication ability, with Spanish language being advantageous Confident ability to work with/organise hauliers and clearing agents Excellent IT and Numeracy ..... full job details .....
