Supply Chain Coordinator

Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of a well-established business in the Whitworth area. As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all materials purchasing, production planning, subcontract manufacturing co-ordination and inventory management. This is a permanent role to start ASAP! Package and benefits in the role of Supply Chain Coordinator: Salary up to £35,000 plus annual bonus scheme 37.5 hours per week working hours are fully flexible across 5 days Mon Fri Onsite parking you must have a full UK Driving licence Life Insurance (2x salary) Christmas shut down Supply Chain Coordinator role and duties: Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations Planning and preparation of weekly production schedules for Operations Teams for multiple manufacturing lines serving over 300 active customers and 500 active products Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers for £1.5 million/annum purchasing spend across materials, packaging etc., monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices Attention to detail is key right down to the finer details including labels etc (fines are incurred for errors and non-conformance) Placing of material purchase orders with suppliers and tracking on time delivery Analysing the supply chain data, seeking improvement opportunities, solving any issues or putting alternative plans in ..... full job details .....
