Supply Chain Coordinator

Direct Response Employment Services are supporting our client in Radstock in the recruitment of a Supply Chain / Logistics coordinator to join the team on a permanent basis.-

This is a great opportunity, joining an expanding business who has just opened another site overseas so it is a really exciting time to join the team.-

The team in Radstock are a small team so you will have a lot of autonomy in your role with your main duties covering full supply chain, logistics, import, export along with liaising with customers.-

Ideally you will have some previous experience within the above, however our client is keen on seeking someone who is organised, able to multi task and has a good level of IT experience as you will be using excel and CRM''s.-

Key Duties:-

• Supplier Coordination: Building relationships with suppliers, tracking orders, and expediting deliveries.
• Communication: Acting as the liaison between production, warehouse, sales, and external logistics providers.
• Problem Solving: liaising with various teams to resolve problems and communicating these with the relevant parties.-
• Prepare and process export and import documentation.
• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Manage customs clearance procedures and resolve any issues related to customs inspections or delays.

This is a full time role which is fully office based working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with a salary that is depending on experience. Roughly salary is between -27,000 to -30,000 but our client is flexible on experience.-
