CareerMakers Recruitment-are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Accrington who are looking to appoint an experienced-Supply Chain Coordinator with strong export licensing knowledge-to support their busy team.
This is a key role within the business, with significant responsibility for export compliance and international order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution
- Manage material requirements planning (MRP) using-SPIRE-and-LITE-systems to ensure timely availability of components and raw materials
- Monitor and maintain accurate data within SPIRE and LITE, including purchase orders, stock levels, and supplier information
- Liaise with internal departments (engineering, production, quality, and logistics) to align supply chain activities with project timelines
- Raise, track, and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from approved suppliers
- Analyse supply chain performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and obsolescence management
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and maintain documentation and reports using SPIRE and LITE
- Coordinate logistics activities, including shipping, customs documentation, and delivery scheduling
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, particularly in relation to critical or long-lead-time components
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure materials meet required specifications
- Assist in demand forecasting and production planning to support business objectives and customer requirements
- Provide support during audits by ensuring all supply chain data in SPIRE and LITE is accurate and up to date
About You
We are looking for a confident and detail-oriented professional who can take ownership of export compliance responsibilities.
You will have:
- Proven experience working as a Supply Chain Coordinator (or similar role)
- Hands-on experience using-SPIRE-and-LITE-systems is essential
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain processes
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with inventory management, procurement, and supplier coordination
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday, 7am - 4pm
Friday, 7am - 12pm
Pay rate:-Negotiable DOE
