Supply Chain Assistant
The Role:Serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and emailAccurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedulesCoordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issuesRaise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and suppliesCommunicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracyMonitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delaysSchedule collections and deliveries with logistics providersPrepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as requiredTrack shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partnersCreate and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systemsInput product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accuratelySupport updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as neededSkills:Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role-ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environmentFamiliarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordinationStrong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage)Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentHigh attention to detail and a proactive, ..... full job details .....
