Job Title: Supply Chain and Production Planning Manager Location: Brighouse, West Yorkshire Salary: 42,000 - 48,000 DOE We are recruiting for a Supply Chain and Production Planning Manager to join a growing manufacturing business based in Brighouse. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a significant purchasing spend, international supply chain and production planning within a business investing heavily in its manufacturing operation. The role will be predominantly procurement focused, managing UK and international suppliers, negotiating raw material pricing and ensuring materials arrive in line with production requirements. You will also support production planning, balancing material availability, machine capacity and labour requirements. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will take responsibility for procurement and supply chain activity whilst working closely with Production, Operations and Warehouse teams. Key responsibilities include: Managing approximately 15m of annual purchasing spend across raw materials and indirect requirements. Negotiating pricing and commercial terms with UK and international suppliers. Managing overseas suppliers, imports, documentation, tariffs and international lead times. Monitoring commodity markets to support purchasing and negotiation decisions. Placing high-value purchase orders and monitoring deliveries through to site. Managing supplier performance and resolving supply, quality and delivery issues. ..... full job details .....
