The organisation is experiencing significant growth across EU/US and the role will look to develop the supply chain across these regions.Client DetailsThis role is within the FMCG industry and is based in Sheffield region.DescriptionThe role of Supply and Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for: Lead the identification, qualification, and on boarding of new suppliers, with a focus on Asia and North America.Conduct overseas supplier visits, audits, and contract negotiations to expand and strengthen the supply base.Partner with sales, operations, and product teams to align procurement strategy with business growth plans, market demand forecasts, and product launches.Maintain a clear view of upcoming product launches, seasonal demand, and promotional activity to plan effectively.Support planning decisions with supplier lead time data and inventory availability.Integrate supplier lead times and global logistics considerations into strategic planning.Anticipate market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing and inventory decisions.Monitor and respond to global risks (geopolitical, currency, supply chain disruptions) with proactive mitigation strategies.Support sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives across the supply chain.ProfileA successful Supply and Demand Planning Manager should have: ..... full job details .....
